Hyundai has released some sketches of its forthcoming Grandeur mid-sized sedan.
The Grandeur (Azera in some markets like the U.S), is designed using Hyundai’s latest design language, ‘fluidic sculpture’ philosophy. It shares the same underpinnings as the Kia Cadenza.
The Grandeur will be fitted with front and rear LED lights, bumper-integrated exhaust pipes and Hyundai’s ‘bold grille’.
Hyundai describes the car as:
"The exterior rendering reflects a `Grand Glide' concept, or an image of a bird gracefully gliding across the sky The front of the car has a bold grille, emphasizing the car's premium look. The side part consists of elegant and flowing lines that exude an overall dynamic image. The rear side conveys a futuristic look through stylish LED lamps and the voluminous wide rear bumper."
The Grandeur/Azera will sit between the Sonata and Genesis in Hyundai's line-up. Unfortunately, Hyundai has confirmed that it will not be sold in the UK.
