The premiere of absolutely new generation Volkswagen Beetle should expect next year. According to magazine Autocar, display of the second version New Beetle will take place in January on a motor show in Detroit. And, according to journalists, the car will receive absolutely new design which will be born a faint resemblance only by first "Beetle".
Apparently, new Volkswagen Beetle hardly becomes larger than present model – will grow not only length, but also the size of a wheelbase. There will be also more powerful engines (at scale top there will be a 2,0-litre motor which begins to give out 210 h.p.). Besides, there will be also a hybrid cursor which will unite the 1,4-litre petrol unit with a turbo-supercharging (150 h.p.) and the 27-strong electric motor.
